Return Policy for Sarah Rutledge Art
At Sarah Rutledge Art, every piece is created and shipped with the highest care. Because our work includes limited edition prints, original canvases, and custom artwork, each order is unique and often produced on demand.
1. Limited Edition Prints & Originals
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on limited edition prints or original canvases due to their collectible and limited nature.
We carefully inspect each piece before shipping. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to arrange a replacement (if available) or issue a refund.
2. Custom Artwork & Commissions
Custom and commissioned artwork is non-refundable and non-returnable.
During the creative process, progress updates are shared with you to ensure alignment before final delivery.
3. Damage in Transit
If your artwork arrives damaged, please email sarah@sarahrutledge.com within 7 days with photos of the item and packaging.
Depending on availability, we will either send a replacement (for prints) or issue a refund.
For originals, we will work with you on a resolution case-by-case basis.
4. Shipping & Handling
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Returned items must be in original packaging when possible.
5. Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after confirmation.
